Little Wheels Training
Get your little one biking safely this summer
The Athlone Community League is proud to once again host the Little Wheels Training program. They have beginner bike classes to help your young one learn to ride safety, advanced classes for when they are ready to learn and do more, and mixed skills training for everyone. All classes emphasize traffic safety and are lots of fun.
The next set of lessons will begin on July 2, 2019 and run each Tuesday for 8 weeks.
In this round, there will be three classes offered:
- 9:30 – 10:30 am – Beginner
- 10:30 – 11:30 am – Advanced
- 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Mixed Skills
The Athlone Community Hall hosts the Edmonton Traditional Karate Club on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Ages 10 and up are welcome. Please note that supervision is required for those ages 10-13.

It develops awareness, appreciation and respect for our natural environment. Activities emphasize Forestry, Ecology, Outdoor Skills and Leadership.
This family oriented club meets two Thursdays a month and once a month for a day/weekend family activity. Parent participation is required. A parent meeting is held one Thursday a month. If you are interested in hiking, camping, canoeing, survival training and more this is the club for you.
