Athlone Community League memberships are available year-round to the residents of Athlone and Dunvegan, as well as to guests renting the Athlone hall or taking part in some select programs. We are currently selling 2019 / 2020 memberships which are valid until August 31, 2020.

If you wish to purchase an Athlone membership , you have the following options:

  1. One of the fastest options is to purchase your league membership at any Edmonton Servus Credit Union Branch. Please let them know that you are wishing to purchase an ‘Athlone Community League Membership’.
  2. The other fastest option is to Purchase online via the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues web site. Please choose ‘Athlone Community League’ from the drop down menu once on their site.
  3. You can also purchase your membership by calling the Athlone Membership phone line at 780-809-1333. Please note that you must leave a message if you use this option. This is a volunteer position and they will contact you as quickly as possible.
  4. Visit any of the public community events taking place at the Athlone hall.

2019/2020 memberships costs* for Athlone & Dunvegan residents are as follows:

  • Family – $20 (2 adults and up to 4 children under 18 living at the same address).
  • Couple – $15 (2 adults at the same address)
  • Single – $10
  • Seniors – $5 (65+)

* For residents living outside the Athlone & Dunvegan area, we encourage you to purchase your Athlone memberships via Servus Credit Union or Online. Doing so will save you money as Athlone Community League membership prices double if purchased directly from our volunteer membership person or at any community event. (Sorry nothing personal, we do this to encourage residents to support the community leagues and programs in their own area).

    • Please note that due to the high costs to run rinks and have the people in place to do it, not all rinks are open every year. To find the closest community league that has a rink open, first check the Edmonton Federation of Community League web sites league directory, go to the Facility Amenities section and select Rink. You can then view a map of all outdoor league skating rinks in Edmonton. We highly recommend that you click on the one that you are interested in and go to that leagues website to check if their rink is open.
  • Cloverdale Paint – Show your Community League membership card, mention Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues and receive wholesale pricing at any Cloverdale Paint location.
