Edmonton Tool Library
Athlone community league is a supporter of The Edmonton Tool Library (ETL).
With Purchase of an Athlone Community League membership you can claim a FREE individual annual membership (regularly $50/year).
You can borrow up to eight items/week year-round. They have over 300 tools that include hand, power, and yard tools.
To claim your membership bring your photo ID and Community League Membership card to their location at Bellevue Community Hall (7308 112 Ave NW)

Calder Library
The Calder Library opened in early 2018, making it one of Edmonton’s newest libraries and the closest library to the communities of Athlone and Dunvegan. It is located just off of 127 Street at 131 Avenue (12710 131 Avenue).

Community swimming is offered at 3 different locations with your Athlone Community Membership
O’Leary Fitness and Leisure Center Saturday, 4:15-6:15pm
Grand Trunk Fitness and Leasure Center (closed November 3, 2025 – January 9, 2026) Wednesday 8-10am, Friday 7:15-9:15pm, and Sunday 4:15-5:45pm
Londonderry Fitness and Leisure Center Sunday, 4:15-5:45pm
