The city still has programs available during the fall.
Toddler/Pre-School Winter Playgroup
The Athlone/Dunvergan Community League now has a toddler/pre-school winter playgroup that would allow parents with children 1-4 years of age, and not yet in school, a chance to let their kids loose in the hall. We meet once a week to let the kids play and run off some energy when the snow is higher than they are.

We hosted the following registered programs for summer 2012. Come out to one of our board meetings if you have ideas for future programs.
Dance to the beat course: 451802
July 3-6 1:30-4pm
ages 5-8yrs
Description:
Explore basic movement through various dance forms like jazz, line dancing, & hip hop. There'll also be dance games & crafts. Show off your new groove with a performance for parents.
Puppeteers course: 451772
July 30-Aug 3 9:00 - 11:30am
Ages 4-6yrs
Description:
Come join us for a week of puppet making, story telling and crazy zany games. Take part in a puppet show and take your own puppet home.
Monsters Etc. course: 451799
Aug 20-24 1:30-4pm
Ages 4-6yrs
Description:
The Monster Factory is now looking for young energetic scarers to join our new organization. Munch on monster treats, make monster masks, move to monster music and discover the world of not too scary monsters.
Green Shack
The green shack program runs for 8 weeks during the summer in the playground as an informal drop in program.
